ABOUT
I am a Canadian Contemporary abstract artist based in Toronto, Canada. I have always been a creative person but my passion for abstract art began in my senior year of High School after participating in a Non-objecting painting workshop. This course was all about using only shape and colour to create a composition. I graduated with an Honours Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Toronto & Sheridan Art and Art History program specializing in Design. Upon graduation I began my abstract painting journey.
At the heart of my practice lies a deep connection to self expression. Art has always been a place where I can trust my intuition. As I paint, the composition chooses to reveal itself to me. The Non-objective shapes and vibrant colours translate into my own abstract form of freedom, language, and expression.
I’m inspired by the magic of paint. The dynamic flow of colours act as a mirror to my subconscious. While my acrylic paintings are an extension of my mind, they have the power to invite the viewer to be drawn to what uniquely resonates within them.
Ultimately, my art is a celebration of colour and abstracted shapes. Through my work, my goal is to inspire others to embrace their own creativity, as I believe everyone can heal and find joy in the universal language of art.
